April 19th Bundoran

Awesome day at The Peak.  Plenty of waves, the sun was shining and the winds stayed in the right direction.  

I have quite a few images to put up (and will do this later today), so if you were around the area or know somebody that was, be sure to check back.  

Tomorrow (Tuesday 14th) looks promising!

With a decent swell pushing in, tomorrow should be another great day.  There should be a good number of options for offshore to cross-shote conditions.  Bear in mind that the more offshore spots will need to take in to account the swell wrapping around the coast.   Have fun.

April 8th - Amazing weather and surf

Finally, I'm back in the water and boy it feels good.  After many months of hospitals and surgery to fix (ish) decades of shoulder abuse, I can now successfully hold a camera and have even been able to get a few waves in.  So, hopefully I can now get back to some regular surfing and photo snapping.

What a day Wednesday was, it seemed like everywhere was going of here in the north west.  I visited a few spots from Bundoran to Easky and will add some photos today and tomorrow.  In the meantime here are a few tasters.  Shout out to Brian - hope you got a few more waves.

Lefts, rights, something for everyone.

2014 is turning out to be a great one for surfers on the west coast.  In between the gale-force conditions their has been some really epic sessions.  Unfortunately, for me, I have missed most of them due to work commitments but... got lucky last friday.  Loads of swell and all the usual spots were firing.  So, whether you preferred hollow rights or something a little mellower on a left - you were in luck.   Here are of couple of shots.  See you out there.

Friday surf report @ 7:55am, pumping surf today folks on the Peak and all reefs with 5-6 ft surf, all reefs going off wind is offshore. The forecast for the weekend is good with 3-4 ft surf tomorrow and 3 ft surf on Sunday, offshore all weekend.
