With good conditions forecast for the weekend it was an early, dark start. Definitely worth it though with clean waves averaging around 3 to 4ft but with some excellent sets coming in overhead. It did get busy at one of the spots below and some p&!£k on a mal decided that it was okay to drop in on me which ended up with fin marks in my head and a verbal abusing for him - I think we both got away lightly.

Ripcurl Flash Bomb a Success
After a few weeks with my 6/5/4 'Flash Bomb' I can tell you that it is sooooooooooo snug. I have had a 6 ml suit before but this is crazy warm. So warm that I have to keep flushing it in the water to avoid overheating!!! Though it's great to have these continuing warm conditions (for November) I am looking forward to getting into the suit on a proper Irish winters' morning. I can't say that it dries as quick as advertised but you can see the water draining quickly from the polypro and it is definitely a nicer proposition getting in to this an hour after a session than any other suit I have had.
